What do I need to apply?

• You hold a relevant master’s degree in engineering or equivalent (within the last 3 years);
• Specializing in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering will be preferred;
• An interest in energy as reflected in your internships or academic work;

Are you a recent graduate from an engineering or technical university? Are you looking for an experience in an international energy company and willing to tackle new challenges? Our E&P Graduate Program is just right for you!

Support TotalEnergies’ transition with our E&P Graduate Program

The program will start 1st of October 2024, you will be hired at TotalEnergies EP Italia S.p.A. on a permanent contract.

During the 2-to-2,5-year program, you will firstly join our affiliate in Italy to anchor your career within a local context, but after approximately 1 year you will undertake your first mission with an exchange to the OneTech Branch in France. It gives you the opportunity to strengthen your technical, scientific, and organizational knowledge, develop your competencies and discover how the Company operates in various energy domains.

Furthermore, the program is seeking to expand your network through various work experiences, a global graduate network, which will all prepare you for a career within TotalEnergies!

How could your journey look like?

The journey will be rich and engaging within the process engineering field. You will have the opportunity to support the team, ensuring technical support to the production site and performing engineering studies in the process domains.

Over 2 to 2.5 exciting years, you will rotate across 2 to 3 departments where you will gain knowledge about the fundamental principles of process engineering, how we operate as Company and be exposed to a broad range of activities preparing you to grow your career.

As part of the program, one of the rotation will be completed in France where you will also get opportunity to develop your intercultural communication skills. This is undeniably a unique opportunity to experience and enriching multi energies journey!

TotalEnergies in Italy

TotalEnergies has been present in Italy for over 70 years. Its activities encompass the entire energy sector, operating through various Business Units (Renewables, Marketing & Services, Refining & Chemicals) spread across the Country.

TotalEnergies EP Italia S.p.A. is the Italian subsidiary of the Exploration and Production Branch of the Company. In Italy, it operates the Tempa Rossa oil field, located in the high Sauro valley, in the heart of the Basilicata region. Tempa Rossa is a joint venture with Shell Italia E&P (25%) and Mitsui E&P Italia B (25%). Discovered in 1989 within the Gorgoglione concession, it covers an area of approximately 190,000 square meters and is primarily situated in the municipality of Corleto Perticara (PZ), 4 km away from which the Oil Center has been built. Five out of the six wells are also located within the territory of Corleto Perticara, while the sixth well is in the municipality of Gorgoglione.

At full capacity, the facility produces approximately 50,000 barrels of oil per day, 230,000 m³ of natural gas, 240 tons of LPG, and 75 tons of sulfur. Tempa Rossa also extends to Taranto, where the crude oil is sent via the Val d’Agri - Taranto pipeline for storage and shipment by sea.
